Recently, Typhoon "Fireworks" has been fierce, bringing extreme wind and rain disasters, causing great inconvenience for those who come to the archives to consult documents. The Municipal Archives has deeply studied and implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on flood prevention and disaster relief, as well as the spirit of the notices from the municipal party committee and government. They strictly implement all requirements for emergency responses to typhoons, actively respond, and organize in an orderly manner, ensuring that archive consultation services remain uninterrupted through methods such as "online services" and "mobile services."
On July 25, the Municipal Archives issued a notice on archive consultation during the typhoon emergency response period, guiding the public with archive consultation needs to apply for consultations through the internet and mobile terminals. At the same time, staff members contacted several scholars who frequently visit the archives, suggesting that they come to consult documents after the typhoon emergency response period to avoid crowds. This not only ensures the personal safety of those consulting the archives but also provides conditions for the high-quality and orderly development of archive consultation services.
After receiving online or phone consultation requests, the Municipal Archives responds promptly and replies to the inquirers as soon as possible. As of July 27, a total of 14 requests for document inquiries related to student records, professional titles, and other archives have been received, all of which have been processed and responded to, receiving positive feedback from users.
